Description
This more advanced Teclu Burner can be used for obtaining a very hot flame. It is suitable for glass work and soldering. The burner consists of a plated brass tube, 105 x 13 mm (height x outside diameter), with a threaded disc valve for adjustment of the air/gas mixture. There is a conical mixing section. The brass wing top is used for obtaining a broad, fishtail flame that heats large areas and smoothly bends glass. The base diameter is about 80 mm and overall height is 120 mm. The serrated inlet tube diameter is 9 mm and is suitable for propane gas. This burner is also useful for flame tests and paint stripping, and fits over a range of burner mixing tubes. This burner will find great use in the laboratory or a simple home use.
