Description
Bromothymol Blue (also known as bromothymol sulfone phthalein, Bromthymol Blue, and BTB) is a chemical indicator for weak acids and bases. In the pH of 6.0 or lower, it is yellow. It changes color between the pH of 6 to 7.6 when it becomes completely blue at the pH 7.6.1 gram of Bromothymol blue may be used to make 10 liters (3 gallons) of indicator solution.
